A few weeks ago, Google transitioned my GMail for Domains to a standard Google Apps account. From my understanding, Google is trying to merge the Google Apps and GMail code bases.
I’ve been hosting my dougware.net email on GMail for Domains for years, and signing into regular Google services such as Google Analytics, Adsense and even Google Help with my email@example.com address.
Since the transition, when I try to access those services, I constantly run into the “This service is not available” message.
Google’s Help, which I have to log out of to access, suggests that I should be able to sign in to those services and change the email address associated with the service. However, since I run into the “This service is not available” message, I can’t log in.
From the message and screenshot, it looks like I should be able to sign in to the dougware.net Google domain administration panel and enable Adsense, Analytics, etc. However, those services are not listed in the available services of the administration panel.
I’ve lost years of analytics data. I’ve emailed Google support, but at this point I am not hopefull that this will be resolved. In the meantime, I’ve transitioned to a self opened instance of Open Web Analytics.
